British Rock

A lot of top quality rock music originated from these shores in the wake of the Beatles.

This section features many of those artists, Bad Company, Chris Rea, David Bowie, Jethro Tull and The Who to mention just a few.

Bad Company, could easily be classified as a ‘supergroup’ as their members originated from Free, King Crimson and Mott the Hoople.

I got into them via two routes, Mott the Hoople (Glam Rock) and Free. Probably more the former at the time. Didn’t catch thier debut album at the time but STRAIGHT SHOOTER the second was excellent.
